Boracay is at it's best on the month of December when there are no moss and shells on beach shore and best explored with family, friends or special someone. But if you want a crowded place best to visit during summer. You will not get bored when you are in Boracay, as long as you know how to spend your money the right way you will surely enjoy your stay in this Island. There are a lot of activities to choose from at Boracay but I choose not to try them all for me to have new things to do when I get back like Para-sailing, Helmet Diving, Banana boating and more.
Boracay is also famous because of it's fine sand, it's like a milk powder, you can use it as scrub for your skin and perfect for building sand castle hehehe!
Boracay on early morning
Try to wake up early so you can appreciate the beauty of the beach when it is not crowded. Perhaps a jogging or a relaxing seat at the sand to watch the sunrise just bring a cloth for you to have seat at the sand because they will not let you use their beach chairs and shades unless you are a guest of their hotel.
Hena Tattoo
This is what I did first when I went to the beach, so that when it fades away it becomes like white tattoo. So when I get back to Manila people noticed my white tattoo and asked me where did you get that? Lol! I also brought my own design for them to copy because I want mine to be unique. Make sure you get the best deal I only paid 200 ($5) pesos for my tattoo plus the initials are free so don't let them rip you off for a small design especially foreigners.
Skim boarding
One of the most affordable activity on the island especially on low tides all you need to find are locals who go to the beach shore with their boards which is for rent for 100-200 pesos or $3-5 per hour or 500 - 700 pesos or $10-15 per day rent of board and you will get a free lesson as well .

Island hopping
There are plenty of boatman looking for an island hopping guests so again find the best deal, usually this comes with eat all you can buffet in one island so best to grab that kind of package to enjoy Filipino cuisine and wide variety of seafood. If you're in a large group you need to pay extra for the buffet.
Kite Boarding
One of the most expensive activity in the island, best if you have your own or find a great bargain. The kite boarding area is located on the other side of the island where the wind is stronger. There are plenty of activities on this Island so best to budget your money and like I always say on my previous travel blog "learn how to bargain" especially on island activities best to get the best deal especially if you are a foreigner, don't let them take advantage of your money and try to it spend like a local.
Sailing
If you want to relax and enjoy the ocean, you can rent a sailboat and go sailing. This is cheaper than Island hopping so again bargain for you to enjoy more.
Boracay at night
You will be amazed how the island transform from a beautiful beach in the morning and a venue of party, live bands with different genres to choose from and buffets at night. Like I said you will not get bored because of the activities to do on this island. Best to try some seafood and Filipino dishes.
Souvenirs
Shopping for souvenirs is easy because the market is just walking distance from the beach shore, always bargain and check other stores first before buying to get the best design price for clothes. What I did is bring only a few clothes and bought some souvenir shirts.
Truly one of the best beach in the world, worth the time, effort and money. Boracay is an island of activity and adventure, serenity in the morning and live bands party at night. I hope they can preserve nature and not compromise it by commercializing the island.
See you on my next boarding pass!
